The first app to book container trucks, integrating import and export procedures

The application called Proship allows users and businesses to easily book trucks and containers for freight services right on their smartphones.

According to the application development team, in the near future, the app will also integrate import and export procedures into the same digital logistics platform, which is being deployed for the first time in Vietnam.

Users can book transportation services by truck, container truck, or even by rail or sea right on the app, similar to popular technology-based ride-hailing services today.

For driver partners, the app targets independent drivers (often referred to as “orphan cars”) and small-scale logistics businesses.

Proship Joint Stock Company - the application developer - said that the logistics industry is facing many existing social challenges such as: tens of thousands of container truck drivers working independently, without a supporting organization; small businesses lack professional staff and have difficulty accessing technology; many cases cannot declare taxes correctly, have difficulty handling customs procedures, are prone to violations or are passive...

According to the development team, the app aims to allow users to perform import and export operations on their phones in the future, combined with a support team to declare and deduct taxes in accordance with regulations without the need for a specialized accounting team.
