The Ministry of Education and Training informed that 1,024,063 candidates registered for the 2023 high school graduation exam. Of which, 37,841 were independent candidates, accounting for 3.69% of the total number of candidates.
The number of candidates only considering graduation is 47,769, accounting for 4.66% of the total; the number of candidates only considering university admission is 34,155, accounting for 3.33%; the number of candidates considering both graduation and admission is 943,340, accounting for 92.91%. The total number of exam scores nationwide is 2,273. The total number of exam rooms is 44,661.
Candidates need to pay attention to personal information when completing exam procedures. If there is any mistake, report it to the supervisor so that it can be handled according to regulations (photo by Trinh Phuc).
This afternoon (June 27), candidates came to complete exam procedures. According to the Ministry of Education and Training's High School Graduation Exam Regulations, candidates need to be present at the exam room at the specified time stated on the exam notice to complete exam procedures, present their citizen identification cards and receive their exam cards.
If there are any errors in last name, middle name, first name, date of birth, priority subjects, priority areas... you must immediately report to the exam supervisor or the person on duty at the exam site for timely handling.
In case a candidate loses his/her ID card or other necessary documents, he/she must immediately report to the head of the examination site for consideration and handling.
For each exam session, candidates must be present at the exam room on time, follow the instructions of the exam committee and the instructions of the exam supervisor. Candidates who arrive more than 15 minutes late after the exam start time signal will not be allowed to take the exam for that session.
In the examination room, candidates must comply with the following regulations: Show the examination card to the invigilator; sit in the correct position with their registration number; before taking the exam, must fully write the registration number and candidate information on the exam paper, exam paper, multiple-choice answer sheet, and scratch paper.
When receiving the exam paper, you must carefully check the number of pages and the quality of the printed pages. If you find that the paper is missing pages or is torn, damaged, smudged, or faded, you must immediately report it to the invigilator in the examination room, no later than 5 minutes from the time the exam paper is distributed.
Do not exchange, copy other people's papers, use unauthorized documents to do the test, or have any gestures or actions that cheat or disrupt the order of the examination room. If you want to give your opinion, you must raise your hand to report to the invigilator; after being allowed, the candidate stands up to publicly present his/her opinion to the invigilator.
No markings or other personal symbols may be used; no writing may be done in pencil, except to fill in the boxes on the multiple-choice answer sheet; writing may be done in one color of ink only (no red ink).
When the test time is over, candidates must stop working immediately; keep their test papers intact and not let others take advantage of them; and must immediately report to the invigilator to handle cases where their test papers are taken advantage of or intentionally interfered with by others.
When submitting an essay test, you must clearly state the number of test papers submitted and sign the test receipt. Candidates who are unable to complete the test must also submit the test paper (for essay tests) and the multiple-choice answer sheet (for multiple-choice tests).
Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination room during the multiple-choice test. For essay tests, candidates may leave the examination room and examination area after 2/3 of the examination time has elapsed. Candidates must submit their examination papers, test papers, and scratch paper before leaving the examination room.
In case of necessity, candidates may only leave the examination room with permission from the invigilator and must be under the supervision of the invigilator. Candidates leaving the examination room or examination area in case of emergency must be under the supervision of the police until the end of the examination session and will be decided by the head of the examination site.
Candidates are only allowed to bring into the examination room: Pens, pencils, compasses, erasers, rulers, calculators; calculators without text editing functions, no memory cards; Vietnam Geography Atlas for the Geography exam.
