Ms. Hoang Mai Phuong, Director of the Digital Content Center, Hanoi Radio and Television Station, said that HANOI ON applies new technological achievements to provide users with diverse experiences in different information content that Hanoi Radio produces and distributes, in accordance with the interests and habits of new users, as well as the national press digital transformation strategy. On the HANOI ON application, there are TV programs and videos on demand; content about Hanoi, for Hanoi, special music programs, audiobooks, and a library of special Vietnamese and international series. Especially, there is a collection of classic films of Vietnamese and world cinema over the past century. Users can access breaking news through continuously updated short vertical videos, watch hot news broadcast live. With HANOI ON, users are not only audiences, not just listeners or readers, but can also be participants in creating content. Users can provide self-created content for Hanoi Radio's distribution channels, interact in TV programs or use online education utilities, payments, e-commerce, view traffic cameras, and report traffic jams. And especially, users can perform public services of Hanoi city, which are integrated in each phase. However, this utility and some other utilities are still in the process of completion.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications - congratulated the achievements of Hanoi Radio and Television Station in recent times, especially the launch of the HANOI ON application with many integrated utilities today. He affirmed that this is the right direction, strongly taking advantage of the digital platform, mastering the digital space to better perform the tasks of a press agency. Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem - General Director of Hanoi Radio and Television Station - said that Hanoi Radio and Television Station develops this application as a comprehensive ecosystem about Hanoi in which the audience is both the content beneficiary and the content creator for this ecosystem. Today's launch is just the first step, the goal of Hanoi Radio and Television Station is to make the HANOI ON application one of the five most popular press applications in Vietnam by 2025.
