The southern axis road of Thai Binh Economic Zone, from the coastal road to National Highway 37B (Route 3) with a length of more than 13km is currently undergoing site clearance and construction. The section in Tien Hai district is 9.6km long, the section in Kien Xuong district is 3.47km long. Up to now, Tien Hai and Kien Xuong districts have handed over 8.6/13.07km of agricultural land on some sections of the route for the contractor to implement the project. There are currently 16 locations with technical infrastructure works crossing the route and within the scope of site clearance that need to be moved. The construction unit has completed the road form, is constructing K95 sand embankment of 5.5/13.07km, constructing internal service roads and other items. The value of construction and installation has reached 103/1,582.3 billion VND.

After inspecting the actual project at the intersections of Nam Binh and Binh Dinh communes (Kien Xuong), Nam Hong commune (Tien Hai) and listening to reports from localities and units, the provincial leaders acknowledged the active participation of Kien Xuong and Tien Hai districts in the site clearance work. At the same time, they requested that localities step up propaganda and mobilization work, create consensus among the people, focusing on some bottlenecks and bottlenecks; immediately deploy procedures and processes for site clearance on residential land and arrange reasonable resettlement plans.

The provincial leaders assigned the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to coordinate with localities and departments and branches to organize regular weekly and monthly meetings to promptly handle problems arising in site clearance work; proactively build critical roads to ensure construction progress as well as project quality according to plan. On the construction unit's side, it is necessary to speed up construction progress on the handed-over land areas, ensure technical and aesthetic requirements according to the approved design plan; at the same time, ensure traffic safety, labor safety and environmental sanitation when implementing the project.
