The stage script writing camp is an opportunity for authors to meet, exchange, discuss, and learn in order to gain new perspectives and good scripts. In recent years, participating in the script writing camp of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, in addition to veteran authors, there have been many young writers creating new and youthful thinking and expression. This year, the participation of two young authors, Tran Khuong Duy and Ky Phuong, creates many expectations for scripts with new perspectives and a youthful lens for the stage.

However, according to insiders, there has not been a clear breakthrough in the script in the way of writing and the way of looking at life. "It is necessary to write about issues related to life, close to what happens every day of people today. Only then will the script have a very high chance of being staged and having a long life when performed" - People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, said.

Author Ngoc Truc said: "A script must both sell tickets and serve political purposes. Therefore, the author needs to be flexible in his or her writing to balance these two requirements." Author Vuong Huyen Co added: "A good script that attracts viewers is not difficult. Those are scripts that exploit many details in everyday life, which will convince the audience."
