This agreement is expected to open up a new direction, modernize the athlete training process, and contribute to raising the level of Vietnamese sports in the digital transformation era.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet affirmed that in recent years, Vietnamese sports have achieved many substantial achievements, thanks to the attention and synchronous investment from the Party, the State and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The upgrading of facilities, remuneration and increasingly professional training environment have created conditions for athletes to break through and shine in the international arena.
Aiming to improve the level of national sports and accompany the country's development, the Vietnam Sports Administration is actively implementing the digital transformation revolution. However, this process still faces many challenges, especially limitations in technology, scientific and technical level and professional human resources.
"Therefore, today's signing ceremony is considered an important first step, laying the foundation for cooperation between the Vietnam Sports Administration and Dreamax Company in applying technology to athlete training and management," Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet shared.
According to Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, the technology deployment will be piloted in four sports, with the expectation that by the end of the year, an effective model will be built, serving as a basis for replication next year.
In the immediate future, athletics will be selected for a 2-3 month pilot, before expanding the application to other sports.
“Despite many difficulties, this is a historic step in bringing technology into the sports industry. I believe that, with the determination and support of all parties, the efforts made today will bring worthy results in the future,” said Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet.
As a pioneer in applying big data and artificial intelligence (AI) to the digital transformation process in the field of high-performance sports, Chairman of Dreamax Technology Joint Stock Company To Hoang Anh said that the signing of this cooperation agreement marks an important step in the journey of innovation and modernization of sports training in Vietnam.
The application of AI technology not only supports in-depth analysis of athlete data but also helps optimize training programs, improve performance, and minimize the risk of injury during training. Thereby, contributing to improving the achievements of Vietnamese sports in regional and international arenas.
According to Mr. To Hoang Anh, the cooperation agreement for the 2025-2030 period is a connection between science and technology and training practices, opening up expectations for breakthrough changes.
With close cooperation between the two sides, the cooperation program promises to contribute to creating sustainable achievements for the country's sports.
“For Dreamax, this is not only a technical agreement but also a strategic commitment, aiming to serve national interests, aiming at major arenas such as the Olympic Games, Asian Games (ASIAD) and Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games). We expect to work with the Vietnam Sports Administration to gradually realize the cooperation contents in an effective, substantive and sustainable manner,” Mr. To Hoang Anh emphasized.
Not only focusing on the central level, the Vietnam Sports Administration also aims to expand the application of technology to localities, aiming to build a data system and modernize training work nationwide.
“In the immediate future, athlete data records will be built and managed. The goal is to create a centralized database system to help manage athletes right from the start of their training. This system will be connected to each locality and sports training center nationwide through a shared electronic information portal,” Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet added.
Currently, the Vietnam Sports Administration has also developed a comprehensive digital transformation project for the high-performance sports industry. This project is not only for the central level, but is also designed as a model, so that localities can implement it together according to the same model.
Director Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet hopes that when the project is approved, the entire sports management, training and development system nationwide will be digitized in a synchronous, effective and sustainable manner.
