On December 28, District 11 held the Announcement Ceremony of the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Ho Chi Minh City for the period 2023 - 2025; Resolution No. 114/NQ-HDND dated December 11, 2024 of the City People's Council on renaming neighborhoods in wards implementing the arrangement of administrative units.

Attending the ceremony was Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai emphasized that the arrangement of administrative units is one of the important tasks in the country's development orientation for the 2021-2030 period, associated with the implementation of innovation in the organization and arrangement of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient; streamlining the payroll, reforming the salary regime; restructuring and improving the quality and efficiency of the contingent of cadres and civil servants, effectively promoting resources for socio-economic development, improving people's lives, maintaining security, national defense and social order and safety.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai suggested that District 11 continue to thoroughly grasp and implement Resolution No. 18 of the 12th Central Executive Committee and Resolution No. 1278 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Ho Chi Minh City in the period of 2023 - 2025.

Continue to promote information and propaganda work on Resolution 1278 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, especially regulations and guidelines on the State's policies and regimes on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels so that cadres, party members and people clearly understand and actively implement consensus and achieve the highest results and efficiency.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai suggested that party committees and authorities at all levels pay special attention to redundant cases when implementing administrative unit arrangements to have solutions and support that are reasonable and appropriate to the actual conditions of the locality.

Party committees and authorities within the scope of administrative unit arrangement must uphold their leadership role, maintain regular activities to resolve work for individuals and organizations; promptly resolve difficulties and problems at the grassroots level; and not affect the lives, production, and activities of the people and cadres, civil servants, and non-professional workers in the area.

Strengthen inspection and supervision of the handover, reception, arrangement, storage and transfer of documents between newly merged wards closely, continuously and in accordance with legal regulations; the merged wards continue to seriously implement the management and handover of assets, finance, land and construction order; avoid loss, negativity and waste; promptly resolve difficulties and problems, and avoid affecting people and business operations.

The merged wards continue to focus on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, ensuring the maintenance of political security and social order and safety in the area; focusing on preparing and successfully organizing the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
