On the afternoon of May 3, Hue Central Hospital held an inauguration ceremony for a playground and learning area called "Space for Children" for children being treated at the Radiation Therapy Department 2, Oncology Center.
Notably, the sponsor of this meaningful project is Ms. Kayuzo Watanabe, President of the Asian Children's Care League (ACCL) - the Japanese "mother" of pediatric cancer patients.

For nearly 20 years, Ms. Kayuzo Watanabe has devoted much of her time to calling for and mobilizing resources from organizations and individuals to support children with cancer, helping them and their families overcome the pain of illness.
According to the leaders of Hue Central Hospital, "Space for Children" is a model with profound humanistic meaning and is very practical, helping children feel happier, more relaxed, less stressed and afraid during the treatment process, especially in the hospital environment; at the same time, supporting doctors to examine children more easily and quickly.
The children's play area includes many play areas with diverse and creative games and exercise areas combined with an airy space with a total investment of more than 150 million VND.

Pediatric radiotherapy, especially radiotherapy with anesthesia, has been routinely applied at the Department of Radiotherapy, Oncology Center, Hue Central Hospital since 2015.
