The Director of the Department of Tourism said that during this year's holiday, the Khanh Hoa tourism market was bustling and vibrant during the 5-day holiday, attracting many tourists from all over to Khanh Hoa for sightseeing and relaxation.

Accordingly, the total number of visitors to Khanh Hoa for sightseeing and relaxation reached 969,955, the average room occupancy rate of accommodation establishments was about 87.4%; the industry's total revenue reached more than 1,300 billion VND.

In particular, mainly focusing on 4 days April 27, April 28, April 29 and April 30 with room occupancy rate over 85% mainly concentrated in some hotels in the city center, 4-5 star resorts in coastal areas with occupancy rate over 90%.

Meanwhile, during the April 30 and May 1 holidays in 2023, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism welcomed 798,100 visitors, with revenue reaching more than VND 854 billion.

According to Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, this year's holiday is quite favorable for tourists to travel for a long time, but high airfares have affected the travel of domestic tourists.

However, due to the smooth highway from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang, tourists in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces can travel to Khanh Hoa by road very conveniently. In addition to road and air, domestic tourists also choose to travel by rail during this year's holiday.

Notably, besides the domestic tourist market, the international tourist market also tends to increase, such as China, Korea... However, due to the current trend of international travel companies and tourists registering for services themselves through the application of website space, choosing and booking directly, domestic travel companies also have a reduced customer market.

According to Cam Ranh International Airport, from April 27 to May 1, the total number of takeoffs and landings at Cam Ranh International Airport reached about 711, an increase of 36.7% over the same period in 2023.

Domestic flights had 289 takeoffs and landings, down 20% compared to the same period in 2023 (143 arrivals and 146 departures); an average increase of 7 flights/day compared to the days before the holiday.
