The 2024 City-level "Union Day" program organized by the Hanoi Youth Union aims to connect union members and young people, with many activities such as: Presenting decisions to establish a Union organization in non-state enterprises; presenting a list of outstanding union members for the Party to consider and admit; admitting new union members; presenting "Wishes for You" gifts and giving gifts to students in difficult circumstances...

Through the event, Hanoi Youth Union hopes that young union members will have the opportunity to participate in Youth Union and Association organizations more regularly, promote youthfulness, and join hands to build an increasingly beautiful and humane society.

Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh said that together with union members and young people nationwide, Hanoi City organized the program "Union Members' Day" in 2024 with the aim of creating a favorable environment for union members who have limited opportunities to participate in union activities to regularly participate in union activities; at the same time, demonstrating the spirit of vanguard, volunteerism and responsibility of union members to the union organization, exercising the rights and obligations of union members.

According to the Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, in recent years, Youth Union chapters at all levels throughout the city have carried out many activities to gather and unite young people such as: developing Youth Union and Association organizations in non-state enterprises and schools; establishing Youth Union and Association branches in accommodation areas, boarding houses, apartment buildings, and new urban areas; giving gifts to young workers far from home; providing free medical examinations and medicine, etc. Thereby, strengthening the role of Youth Union and Association organizations accompanying young people.

On the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024), the Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union sent congratulations to all union members and young people of the capital, hoping that the union members will always promote the enthusiasm of the youth and the young generation of the capital; further promote the fine traditions of the youth of the whole country, actively contributing to the cause of building a prosperous and happy capital and country.

During the "Union Day" in 2024, response activities took place such as: launching an environmental sanitation campaign, eliminating black spots of waste on Gia Coc Street, Kieu Ky Commune; giving QR codes for payment to businesses, implementing a cashless market model at Kieu Ky Market, Kieu Ky Commune; organizing a Counseling and Career Orientation Day for union members and youth of high schools at Nguyen Van Cu High School, Bat Trang Commune; inaugurating a youth bookshelf project in Hoang Long Village, Dang Xa Commune; inaugurating a youth project; issuing digital signatures to union members and youth, etc.
