Jack is silent amid the noise related to the MV "From where I was born"
In recent days, Jack's MV "From Where I Was Born" featuring football star Lionel Messi has become the center of public attention.

The incident became "hotter" than ever when businessman Pham Ngoc Quoc Cuong and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Anh - the two people who connected singer Jack to meet soccer player Messi - spoke up to accuse the young singer of "fabricating" and asked Jack to delete the MV or delete the scene with Messi.
In the latest developments, Giao Thong Newspaper contacted singer Jack but has not received a response.
Previously, on August 31, Jack released the MV "From Where I Was Born", featuring Messi. After the release of this music product, social media was flooded with information claiming that Jack spent 60 billion VND on a trip to meet Messi.
On the morning of September 3, singer Jack's legal representative issued a statement denying the above rumor.
Along with the announcement, singer Jack also apologized to individuals (including businessman Pham Ngoc Quoc Cuong), associates, and partners who were indirectly affected by the unverified information circulating on social networks.
On September 4, Mr. Quoc Anh confirmed that the two sides had agreed that the images and videos were for keepsakes and could be posted on Facebook. Therefore, the fact that his "younger brother" made a music video and held a press conference made Mr. Quoc Anh feel that it was "arbitrary" and "disrespectful".
Mr. Quoc Anh also confirmed that Messi's side did not know who "he" was and that Messi did not agree to act in the MV together. This person asked "he" to delete the MV or delete the scene with Messi in the MV, and at the same time correct the truth to the press.
No agreement to use Messi's image in Jack's MV
Sharing with Giao Thong Newspaper about the journey to take Jack to meet Messi in France, Mr. Quoc Cuong said that because this was a difficult appointment, he asked very carefully, and only when he received the football star's consent did he prepare to leave.

"I want to emphasize that it's a "date" and not simply a fan "waiting" to meet their idol, asking to take a photo or "selfie" as usual.
The reason is because I'm not in France to run around "stalking" idols, and no one flies from Vietnam to France with a lot of money to "stalk" idols and then return empty-handed.
Because this was an extremely difficult appointment, I had to ask very carefully about getting Messi's consent before preparing to leave.
Even if it was agreed upon in advance, whether the appointment goes as planned or not depends on many factors, such as whether they are happy or sad after the match, or if there is an accident or injury...", said Mr. Quoc Cuong.
Talking about the reason for connecting Jack in this appointment, the businessman affirmed that he wanted to help Jack rebuild his image in the eyes of fans.
He himself realized that Jack was talented, had a passion for art and shared his love of football.
However, as soon as he informed him, Jack asked if he could re-record the image to use later as an MV.
Businessman Quoc Cuong affirmed that he had made it clear from the beginning that no, even with a lot of money, it was not certain that he would be able to invite Messi and get his approval.
"There is no way Messi will agree to appear in a music video. With Messi's reputation, the whole world wouldn't be able to have it even if they wanted to, the amount of money they would have to pay would be huge.
Exploiting Messi's image cannot be as small as 60 billion VND, too small compared to him. Recently, the Arab side invited Messi and his family to film a 30-second advertisement, and had to pay 20 million USD.
Firstly, I am not qualified enough to invite Messi to appear in the MV. Secondly, there is no agreement or contract for Messi to appear in the MV," said Mr. Quoc Cuong.

Jack's claim that he "asked Messi for permission" is "fabricated"
At the press conference on August 31, when asked whether Messi had given permission to use his image?
Jack replied that Messi's "agent" said the MV must not mention politics or national issues and must not sell Messi's image. Therefore, the crew did not enable monetization on YouTube and did not ask for sponsorship.
Mr. Quoc Cuong disagreed and said that Jack's statement to the media that he "asked permission from Messi" to put these commemorative images in the music video was "fabricated".
It was businessman Quoc Cuong who proactively contacted Jack to ask why Messi's image was used in the MV and received the singer's answer that he had turned off the MV's monetization feature and did not violate the agreement...
Then there was a series of information about the rumor of 60 billion VND to film a music video, or about the huge amount Jack spent to meet Messi... which made the businessman really indignant.
Businessman Quoc Cuong said that when he continued to contact Jack, he received an apology and the male singer blamed his "media team".
The male singer even asked the businessman back who spread the rumor about the 60 billion VND figure.
Regarding the request to "delete the MV or delete the scene with Messi", Mr. Cuong said that the problem lies in determining the commercial nature of the MV.
"The MV is trending at the top, helping his name rise, so it's hard to say it's not commercial. Whether it's right or wrong, Messi's media will consider and work on it. If people ask him to work, he will have to take responsibility," said Mr. Cuong.
In response to the question of Giao Thong Newspaper: Will you take legal action to protect your honor and reputation?
Mr. Cuong said: "I asked Jack's side to correct the information from the beginning, but until now their statement is still ambiguous.
As for using legal measures, it is necessary to find out the source of the information and clarify the damages. Regarding this issue, we have also been/are taking action and currently have nothing more to share."
