On December 28, the People's Committee of Krong Buk district held a conference to evaluate the results of implementing socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in 2023 and deploying tasks in 2024.

In 2023, despite many difficulties and challenges, the district's economy continued to maintain development, and the economic structure gradually shifted in the right direction.

Total production value in 2023 reached 4,641 billion VND (100.4% of the plan). Budget revenue reached 101 billion VND (101% of the plan). Total social investment capital reached 614 billion VND (104% of the plan). Average income per capita reached 52 million VND/year (113% of the plan).

In addition, the fields of culture, society, education and health have many positive changes; social security is ensured; people's lives are improved; national defense and security are maintained.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and resolving difficulties and problems in the past such as: encroachment on traffic safety corridors, violations of construction order, market meetings not in accordance with planning and regulations still occurring; urban planning work of the district administrative center; security and order situation, ensuring traffic safety in the district...

At the conference, the People's Committee of Krong Buk district also launched a competition to carry out the task of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in 2024. Accordingly, in 2024, the People's Committee of the district set a number of specific targets: total production value reaches 4,957 billion VND; total social investment capital reaches 620 billion VND; average economic growth rate according to production value (2010 comparative price) is 7.27%; the poverty rate decreases by 1 - 1.5%; strives for 2 more communes to meet new rural standards (Cu Pong and Ea Ngai communes)...
