Responding to Vietnam Brand Day (April 20): Innovation for breakthrough

The Vietnam National Brand Program aims to build and promote the image of Vietnam as a country with quality goods and services, build prestige and enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises in the domestic and international markets; affirm that Vietnamese enterprises have the best products and services to serve Vietnamese consumers and export to the world. In 2025, the Vietnam National Brand Week 2025 will be deployed nationwide from April 17 to 23 with the theme "Breakthrough from innovation". In response to Vietnam Brand Day 2025, departments, branches and localities have coordinated to organize propaganda, promote information, and support the work of building and developing national brands in the business community and society.

As a land of hundreds of crafts, Nam Dinh has long been famous for many product brands in many fields from agriculture, industry, small-scale industry and services... such as Nam Dinh silk; bronze casting, fine art wooden furniture, Y Yen bamboo and rattan, Hai Hau Tam xoan rice, Sa Chau fish sauce (Giao Thuy), Siu Chau candy, Kenh village rice rolls, Ba Thi gai cake, Hanh Tu green bean cake... Through many historical changes, those brands have always been preserved, conserved and developed; at the same time, they are important catalysts for generations of Nam Dinh people to continue to build brands for modern products through many forms such as geographical indications; building collective brands, certification brands and common brands for products. Typical brands are Nghia Hung goby fish brands, Nam Dinh Clean Agriculture Association, Hai Hau longan cake, Xuan Thuy National Park mangrove honey; Linh Phat mushrooms; Hai Hau kohlrabi, carrots, dried radishes; Minh Duong dried vegetables; grilled fish, salt-roasted mantis shrimp, Dung Oanh honey clams; Tan Long jellyfish... have contributed to increasing the added value of local agricultural products.

In particular, with the spirit of innovation to break through, the business community, cooperatives, and production facilities in the province are gradually supporting startups and building brands for modern products with high scientific content such as the platform (App) for learning and practicing international primary school math exams; cordyceps sinensis as a silkworm host; animal feed and fertilizer from golden apple snails; applying microbiological technology to improve the quality of products from the red lotus plant; instant seafood vermicelli; developing a traditional fermentation craft village in the ancient village of Bach Coc... These are innovative creative ideas that exploit digital technology and enhance the value of traditional products on the basis of science and technology, contributing to brand development and diversification of local products.

To achieve this success, the provincial departments and agencies have coordinated with relevant agencies to promote dissemination and raise awareness of intellectual property; organize many training courses to raise awareness of intellectual property laws, skills in building, managing, protecting and exploiting intellectual property to enhance the value, reputation and competitiveness of products, helping businesses and cooperatives build appropriate production and business strategies. Support the implementation of brand protection activities such as: designing, building brands, building regulations on brand management and use, building brand management models, building promotional tools, exploiting brand value, supporting the expansion of consumer markets and trade promotion for products. Especially in response to the National Brand Week, the Department of Industry and Trade promoted the dissemination of the content and meaning of Vietnam Brand Day on the Department's website; Coordinate with press and media agencies to create reports, propaganda articles and hang banners and leaflets on main roads, at markets, shopping malls, large-scale production and business establishments in the province. In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade guides businesses in the province to organize activities in response to Vietnam Brand Day 2025... Support the implementation of many solutions to support businesses and people in building digital brands, raising awareness, image and style of brands, attracting customers' attention on digital platforms, increasing the number of national domain names ".vn" in the province. To create a ripple effect as well as improve the effectiveness of activities taking place during Vietnam National Brand Week 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade advises and orients the building of brands, industries, and key products of the locality; combine the building and development of product brands, business brands with national brands, creating added value for society; Focus on accompanying and supporting businesses and entrepreneurs to develop their brands through supporting the improvement of production and processing management, increasing value, and developing markets for key products and typical products of the province.

In response to the Vietnam National Brand Week 2025, supermarkets, shopping malls, and manufacturers have hung propaganda banners and applied many promotional programs, discounts, and gifts to thank consumers to attract people's shopping interest, contributing to bringing Vietnamese brands closer to consumers, gradually creating trust and habits of using Vietnamese goods among local people. Especially on this occasion, the Departments of Industry and Trade, Science and Technology, Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated to organize book fairs, display, and introduce technology products, and typical OCOP products of the locality.

With many practical activities, the Vietnam National Brand Week and Vietnam Brand Day 2025 in the province contribute to raising responsibility, strengthening coordination between State agencies and enterprises, while honoring and promoting Vietnamese brands and products, OCOP products, typical rural industrial products of the province, arousing the aspirations of the business community to reach out in the process of building brands and sustainable development of the country.
