Speaking at the discussion on the topic "Party building work in politics, ideology, and ethics at the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, current situation and solutions", comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized: The Standing Committee of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee deeply understands that building the Party in politics is demonstrating political mettle in political decisions, especially in difficult situations, new issues, and difficult issues with many different opinions that require promoting democracy, listening to many perspectives to determine and decide on the most correct decisions, limiting mistakes and shortcomings.

From that awareness, in the past terms, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Party committees at all levels in the Provincial Party Committee have led and directed with many synchronous and specific solutions, implemented with high political determination and great efforts of the entire political system, creating positive and strong changes, thereby contributing to building increasingly clean and strong Party committees and organizations, leading to the completion and over-fulfillment of the targets and tasks set out annually; many targets have so far been achieved, exceeded and approached the targets of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

Regarding the work of Party building in terms of ideology, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee have effectively directed the work of Party building in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics, along with Party building in terms of organization and cadres, especially in the work of organizing grassroots Party and Party members. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has directed the good implementation of models in Party building work such as: the model of Party development among students; the model of Party development among religious people; the establishment of Party organizations in non-state enterprises, etc.

On average, each year, Ninh Binh province admits 325 party members who are students; 97 party members who are religious; on average, each year, 12 party organizations are established and 164 party members are developed in non-state enterprises. In particular, the province has directed the establishment of party organizations in the Provincial Business Association and all business associations in districts and cities.

Regarding Party building in terms of ethics, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee said: The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Party committees at all levels in the provincial Party Committee have focused on educating, training and testing cadres and party members, especially the qualifications, obligations and duties of party members through assigning specific tasks, clearly defining people, work, time, responsibility and effectiveness so that cadres and party members gradually imbue revolutionary ethics, contribute and sacrifice for the common development of the province.

The most obvious manifestation is ethics in performing public duties, ethics in behavior, dialogue, receiving citizens and resolving legitimate petitions of the people; the responsibility to set an example with the viewpoint that the higher the position, the more exemplary one must be for subordinates to learn and follow. There are grassroots party cells that put forward the message "do all the work, not all the hours", there are district-level party committees that implement the theme "Supervise words that go hand in hand with actions", many typical examples such as voluntary cornea donation, humanitarian blood donation...; many typical collectives and individuals in donating land, property, working days to build new rural areas, build houses of gratitude... are specific, practical, effective actions in organization and implementation, creating a strong spread, imbued with profound humanistic values, preserving the tradition of mutual love and affection of Vietnamese people in general and people of the ancient capital in particular...

With a spirit of lively and frank exchange, promoting democracy and high responsibility, at the workshop, delegates, experts and scientists provided scientific and practical arguments, creating a unified understanding of the concept, content, tasks and solutions of Party building work in terms of politics, ideology and ethics.

In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, said: After a day of urgent and serious work, with a high sense of responsibility, promoting democracy, creativity, capacity, theoretical level, and practical experience of delegates, experts, and scientists, the workshop "Theoretical and practical issues in Party building work in politics, ideology, and ethics in the new period" was a great success.

To improve the effectiveness of Party building in terms of politics, ideology and ethics, the Party Central Committee Secretary and Head of the Central Propaganda Department proposed focusing on implementing the following groups of solutions: Strengthening Party building in terms of politics with a steadfast spirit and constantly applying and creatively developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in accordance with Vietnam's reality in each revolutionary period.

Focus on building the Party in terms of ethics, "Promoting the spirit of self-cultivation and moral training of cadres and party members. Promoting revolutionary ethics education, regularly, extensively and effectively implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style in conjunction with the implementation of political tasks".

The Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department said: The opinions of delegates, experts and scientists have provided scientific and practical arguments, creating a unified understanding of the concept, content, tasks and solutions of Party building work in terms of politics, ideology and ethics; which is the basis for summarizing the Party building work in terms of politics, ideology and ethics over 40 years of implementing the renovation policy and participating in building the content of the 14th National Party Congress Documents. Based on the results of the workshop, the Central Propaganda Department will refine and compile a document on Party building work in terms of politics, ideology and ethics for unified implementation in research work of the entire Propaganda sector and in the political system.
