In particular, in Vietnam, culture is considered an endogenous resource and driving force for the development process. This is an issue that General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, leaders of the Party, State and National Assembly are very concerned about.
Mr. Tuan believes that when we have a legal framework and institutional foundation, and a process of international cooperation within the IPU community to form a cooperation mechanism, in order to respect and develop the unique cultural characteristics of each country and nation, we will create a colorful cultural picture, contributing to building a prosperous, peaceful, cooperative and developed world. This is the highest goal set by the IPU.
Vietnam's preparation work is full of creativity and ideas.
Ms. Zenia Hilal, representative of the IPU Secretariat, expressed her appreciation for Vietnam's role in organizing the conference and its efforts to empower and improve the rights of young people. The clearest evidence is the large participation of delegates.
We can also realize that the topic of discussion at the Conference is extremely important, being the intersection of very important issues about the young generation, sustainable development, and innovation that Vietnam integrates into the discussion sessions.
"I believe that Vietnam is the perfect host for the 9th Global Meeting of Young Parliamentarians," said Ms. Zenia Hilal.
