On May 9, in Na Lo village, Ta Chai commune (Bac Ha), the Provincial Women's Union held a launching ceremony to deploy activities to build a model for rural environmental protection associated with building a "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans".

The model of “Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans” includes the following criteria: having a safe home, having a sustainable livelihood, having health, having knowledge, having a cultural lifestyle; clean house, clean kitchen, clean alley.
Previously, to implement the pilot model of “Family of 5 has, 3 clean”, the Provincial Women’s Union selected and surveyed the location. Based on the survey results, the Provincial Women’s Union decided to choose Ta Chai commune as the pilot model.

Ta Chai is the only commune in Bac Ha district recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards by 2022. The whole commune has 100% of village, hamlet, and alley roads concreted; 100% of rural traffic routes are regularly maintained and repaired to ensure green - clean - beautiful; 100% of canals are reinforced with concrete; 100% of households have access to the national grid; 3/3 of schools meet national standards; 98.9% of households have houses that meet the standards of the Ministry of Construction... The implementation of the rural environmental protection model associated with building "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans" in Ta Chai commune is very practical, suitable for the locality, especially some villages that are developing community tourism such as Na Lo and Na Kim.
