Speaking at the meeting, Major General Nguyen Van Thap, Deputy Political Commissar of the Academy, on behalf of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Academy, sent New Year greetings to Lao students on the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay New Year.
The Deputy Commissar of the Academy praised the efforts and results of Lao students' study and training in recent times, and affirmed that the Academy of Politics always creates favorable conditions in terms of facilities, learning and living environment so that students can study with peace of mind, contributing to building the Lao army and country stronger and stronger.

Within the framework of the meeting, traditional rituals of Bunpimay such as tying a thread on the wrist for good luck and the custom of splashing water for blessings were reenacted in a solemn and joyful manner.
