On January 2, according to information from the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, starting from 2024, implementing Resolution 28/2023 on policies to attract doctors to work in some units of Quang Ninh province until 2025, approved by the 14th Provincial People's Council at the 16th Session, the locality will support the attraction of human resources in the health sector.

Accordingly, the recruited candidates, after having a decision to recruit or accept them as civil servants, will enjoy a one-time support regime: Medical doctors, level II specialists will be supported with 750 million VND; resident doctors will be supported with 550 million VND. The recruited doctors will work at the following hospitals: Provincial General Hospital; Obstetrics and Pediatrics; Bai Chay; Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi.

Resident doctors, medical masters, and level I specialists are supported with 700 million VND; doctors with 6-year training and excellent graduation are supported with 500 million VND; doctors with 6-year training are supported with 450 million VND working at the Medical Centers of the districts: Ba Che, Binh Lieu, Dam Ha, and Co To.

Resident doctors, medical masters, and level I specialists are supported with 550 million VND; doctors with 6-year training program and excellent graduates are supported with 400 million VND; doctors with 6-year training program are supported with 300 million VND when working at Lung Hospital, Mental Health Protection Hospital, Forensic Center, Ha Long General Hospital; Medical Centers of Ha Long City, Cam Pha City, Mong Cai City, Uong Bi City, Quang Yen Town, Dong Trieu Town, Hai Ha District, Tien Yen District, Van Don District.

Doctors working at medical stations in island communes according to Decision No. 425 dated April 7, 2017 of the Prime Minister; medical stations in communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Quang Ninh province according to Decision No. 861 dated June 4, 2021 of the Prime Minister, are supported from 200 to 500 million VND, depending on the area and subject.

The number of human resources in the health sector of Quang Ninh province is expected to attract at least 298 people. Of which, there are at least 10 medical doctors and level II specialists; at least 39 medical masters, level I specialists, and resident doctors; and at least 249 doctors.

Resolution 28/2023, effective from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025, is expected to significantly contribute to solving the difficulties and shortage of human resources for the Quang Ninh health sector in the period of 2024 - 2025 .
