Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club Coach: 'We are very disappointed'

Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club lost 0-1 to host Ho Chi Minh City in the penultimate round of V-League 2024-2025 at Thong Nhat Stadium on the evening of June 15.

Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City Club was "overjoyed" after the victory, thereby securing the right to stay in the league one round early.

Coach Phung Thanh Phuong said: "After the end of the first half, I told the players to be patient. I thought the opportunity would come with home field advantage. And we did it with a win."

Coach Phung Thanh Phuong said that after completing the relegation target assigned by the club's board of directors, the club will evaluate the gains and losses this season. "We gained more when our mainstays left, the remaining players kept their spirits up. The young players have matured and become more confident after a season," he said.

Coach Phung Thanh Phuong also revealed that Vietnamese-American goalkeeper Patrik Le Giang will stay with the team next season. As for Endrick - who scored the only goal in the victory over Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club, Ho Chi Minh City Club will have to work with the home club of this Malaysian-Brazilian striker.
