In the first 6 months of the year, the Provincial Business Association has performed well its role and function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of member businesses. In addition to participating in the debate and development of policies and laws related to businesses, the Standing Committee of the Association regularly grasps the production and business situation, the difficulties of businesses, promptly reports, proposes and recommends the Provincial People's Committee to direct functional departments and branches to help businesses stabilize production. The Association also coordinated with functional units to organize 2 thematic conferences, 3 training courses to improve legal knowledge and business administration skills for nearly 1,000 member businesses. The business community has donated nearly 20 billion VND to give Tet gifts to poor households, households in difficult circumstances and community activities...

The last months of 2024 are forecasted to have many difficulties. In order to help businesses maintain operations, expand scale, boost production and business, the Provincial Business Association focuses on organizing and connecting investment promotion, domestic and international trade promotion; propagating and fostering legal knowledge, corporate governance, digital transformation, launching emulation movements for good production and business associated with environmental protection and sustainable development. Continue to review and grasp difficulties and problems of businesses, synthesize reports, propose solutions, make recommendations to the Provincial People's Committee and all levels and sectors to resolve, support and remove obstacles so that businesses can develop stably, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the province.

The conference discussed and implemented a number of tasks: emulation and reward work, organizing the investigation of the DDCI Index in 2024, organizing the celebration of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day on October 13, perfecting personnel, financial work, inspection and supervision of the Association, the plan to review and sign regulations and coordination programs between the Provincial Business Association and a number of sectors and units in the province.

One of the key tasks of the Association in the last months of the year is to effectively implement Plan No. 96/KH-UBND, dated June 3, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the measurement of the Department, Branch, District and City Competitiveness Index (DDCI) in 2024 to ensure objectivity, transparency, honesty, quality, and on schedule, contributing to improving the province's investment and business environment, creating a favorable ecosystem to attract investment and helping businesses produce and do business effectively.
