Efforts for the smokeless industry

From a province heavily devastated by war, Tay Ninh is gradually transforming itself with the development of high-tech agriculture and closed livestock farming towards export, while Tay Ninh's tourism industry is also witnessing strong development.

In 2024 alone, the province welcomed over 5.6 million visitors, with tourism revenue reaching VND2,500 billion. The province's goal is to strive for tourism to become a key economic sector by 2030. To achieve the set goal, the province has been focusing on developing infrastructure, improving the quality of tourism services and building unique tourism products.

Tay Ninh not only has beautiful natural landscapes but is also home to many unique historical and cultural relics. Among them, the most prominent is the Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area, one of the famous tourist destinations in the South, attracting millions of visitors each year.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha, a tourist from Dak Lak, expressed her delight at seeing the colorful flowers on top of Ba Den Mountain in the chilly weather.

“This is the first time I have come to Tay Ninh to visit Ba Den Mountain, but the flowers and grass around are so colorful and the climate is so cool, I feel very comfortable and really excited,” Ms. Ha shared.

With the goal of developing the tourism industry in a smart and effective direction, Tay Ninh has deployed synchronous digital transformation solutions from the government to tourism businesses, in which the province has deployed QR code applications at 56 historical sites and tourist attractions in the province so that tourists can easily access information introducing destinations.

At the same time, integrate the Tourism Information Portal with the smart tourism digital map, build tourism communication channels, Chatbot system, operate tourism App to integrate and synchronize smart tourism map, other tourism information; integrate the "check-in" feature of Tay Ninh tourist attractions; integrate applications to support tourism program building, online booking and payment of tourism services; provide information and instructions for tourists, receive feedback and process tourists' feedback.

Mr. Ngo Tran Ngoc Quoc - Chairman of Tay Ninh Province Tourism Association said: "We are applying 4.0 technology to the tourism sector. Accordingly, we create separate pages, separate locations, and at the same time create 4D images and have directions, when we touch it, it is like walking in a virtual reality".

Currently, Tay Ninh tourism is facing a great opportunity to become a key economic sector. With a variety of tourism products, strong infrastructure development and great potential in culture and nature, Tay Ninh can completely attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.

Reaching for a prosperous future

Not only in the fields of agriculture and tourism, in recent years, Tay Ninh has been affirming its position as an attractive destination, ready to enter a new era. The province has made significant breakthroughs in attracting investment, export turnover, and industrial production value. Preferential policies, synchronous infrastructure, along with advantages in geographical location and natural resources have helped Tay Ninh become increasingly attractive to domestic and foreign investors.

In Go Dau district, there are 2 industrial parks approved by the Government and 2 resettlement areas to meet the needs of attracting investment and supporting resettlement of land clearance projects. By early 2025, the whole district has 421 operating enterprises, creating jobs for more than 60,000 workers, including 40,000 local workers.

Mr. Shi Chun, Director of Brotex Vietnam Co., Ltd. said: "We chose to invest in Tay Ninh because the transportation system here is quite convenient, connecting to Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Moc Bai border gate. And the investment environment here is also very good, the provincial leaders are interested and accompany businesses".

Also a foreign investor in Tay Ninh province, Mr. Harry Choi - Deputy General Director of TKG Taekwang Moc Bai Joint Stock Company shared: "Tay Ninh is a land with a very good investment environment not only for Vietnamese enterprises but also for foreign enterprises. The province is very interested in taking care of the lives and health of employees and the interests of enterprises, therefore, the company has chosen Tay Ninh for investment and development".

Accompanying businesses, Tay Ninh province is currently promoting digital transformation in conjunction with promoting administrative reform; effectively implementing the Project to improve scores and enhance rankings for PCI, PAPI, PAR INDEX, SIPAS and ICT INDEX in Tay Ninh province in the period of 2021-2025. The province also focuses on improving the provincial competitiveness index (PCI), building a friendly, transparent, professional and competitive investment environment; focusing on reviewing and removing barriers and obstacles in production and business activities for businesses.

50 years after liberation, under the leadership of the Party Committee with correct policies and the united efforts of the entire political system, bright colors gradually replace the wounds of war.

Entering 2025, Tay Ninh continues to set new goals, including striving for an economic growth rate of 10%, creating the premise and momentum for breakthrough growth with the goal of double-digit growth in the 2026-2030 period over the years. Regarding the scale of GRDP in 2025, the province strives to reach 140,000 billion VND, GRDP per capita (at current prices) reaching 4,620 USD; growth of the industrial - construction sector of about 14.6% (industry alone increased by 14.5%); services increased by 8.6%; agriculture - forestry - fishery increased by 4.5%; total social investment capital reached 50,500 billion VND (accounting for 36% of GRDP).

Of which: the State sector is about 6,200 billion VND, the private sector and the foreign direct investment sector is about 44,300 billion VND. It can be seen that this is a challenging task, requiring the joint efforts of the Party Committee, the government and the people in the province.

In order to realize the set goals, in 2025, the province will focus on implementing 3 program contents, including: a breakthrough program on sustainable infrastructure development, especially the industrial and urban ecosystem; a breakthrough program on institutions, removing "bottlenecks", improving the quality of the investment and business environment, building and implementing an effective and efficient public administration model; a breakthrough program on digital transformation and green transformation.

In addition, Tay Ninh continues to streamline the organization and apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the entire political system; mobilize and effectively use resources for development investment; synchronously implement the Tay Ninh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 in accordance with local conditions and resources in each period; strive by 2030, Tay Ninh will become a dynamically developed, civilized locality with a good living environment, well adapted to climate change, and become a locality worth visiting and living in...

The anniversary of the Great Victory of Spring 1975 is not only an occasion to pay tribute to the generation of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for national independence, but also a reminder for today's and future generations to cherish peace and make greater efforts in the cause of building the homeland.
