Hai Duong admitted 848 party members

According to the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, since the beginning of the year, the entire provincial Party Committee has admitted 848 party members, reaching 38.5% of the target set by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, which is to admit 2,200 or more party members each year.

Some Party Committees that admitted many members were Kinh Mon town with 98 members, Ninh Giang district with 87 members, Kim Thanh district with 84 members, and Hai Duong City Party Committee with 81 members. In the province, 3 Party organizations were established under the grassroots Party Committees in Kinh Mon town and Kim Thanh and Thanh Mien districts.

The low number of new party members is due to difficulties in generating resources in many places, especially in rural areas. Since April 2023, Hai Duong has transferred 21 grassroots party organizations under the District Party Committees, City Party Committees, and Town Party Committees in the province to the Party Committees of enterprises under the Party Committee of the Central Enterprise Bloc according to Regulation No. 60-QD/TW dated March 8, 2022 of the Secretariat on party organizations in economic groups, corporations, and state-owned commercial banks.
