Hai Duong transfers 12 medical centers to district-level People's Committees for management before July 1

The Department of Home Affairs of Hai Duong province will coordinate to develop a project to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration, ensuring the transfer of all 12 district-level medical centers in the province currently under the Department of Health in the direction of the status quo in terms of facilities, staffing, functions, and tasks to the District People's Committee for management before July 1.

The transfer aims to continue to innovate the organization and management system, improve the quality and efficiency of public service units and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, perfect the planning of the network of public service units, ensuring streamlining and rationality.

At the same time, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province requested to reorganize commune-level health stations, ensuring that each administrative unit has only one health station. The People's Committee of the province assigned the People's Committee of the district to direct the specialized department to develop a project and decide to merge commune-level health stations to ensure regulations.
