Attending and seeing off workers returning home to celebrate Tet were Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Pham Qui Tien; Chairman of the Hanoi Confederation of Labor Pham Quang Thanh, representatives of departments, branches and sectors of the city and Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zone.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the City Labor Federation Pham Quang Thanh said that in the past year, the Capital Labor Union, with its functions and tasks, has always stood side by side with union members and workers. In 2024, the City Labor Union at all levels allocated over 200 billion VND from the Union budget to care for and support union members and workers in difficult circumstances; supported the repair and construction of 35 new Union shelters.

Especially on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty this year, in order to take care of and practically support the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, with the motto of not letting any union member or worker go without Tet, the Hanoi City Labor Federation has supported 48 thousand workers in difficulty, with a total amount of over 42 billion VND; thereby creating peace of mind, encouraging and motivating workers to stick with the enterprise, with the Trade Union organization; working with higher productivity and better quality.

According to the Chairman of the City Labor Federation, understanding the worries about transportation of workers working far from home every time Tet comes and Spring comes; in order to further motivate workers to work with peace of mind and produce well, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025, the Hanoi Labor Federation supported 5,000 bus tickets in cash for workers with a total amount of 1.77 billion VND; supported vehicles to take 1,200 workers of the Trade Union of Industrial and Export Processing Zones back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet with their families with destinations being Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and some northern provinces.

Along with that, the Labor Federations of districts, towns, and industry unions have also deployed and organized programs to support vehicles, train tickets, and bus tickets to bring disadvantaged workers in the area back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet with their families.

This is the 17th consecutive year that the City's Trade Unions at all levels have organized this activity, thereby creating a positive effect, mobilizing and calling on businesses to join hands with the Trade Union to take care of union members and workers. During the Lunar New Year 2025, there were thousands of trips by businesses in coordination with the grassroots Trade Unions to take workers home to celebrate Tet and welcome workers back to work after Tet.

"Through this activity, the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation hopes that all levels and sectors, especially employers and enterprises, will pay attention and, together with the Trade Union, actively care for the material and spiritual life of workers, strengthen the bond between workers and enterprises; improve the quality of human resources and competitiveness of enterprises; improve labor productivity, build a strong workforce to meet the requirements of national development in the new period" - Chairman of the City Labor Federation Pham Quang Thanh emphasized.

Sending best New Year wishes to workers and their families, the Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation expressed his belief that workers in the capital will promote the spirit of solidarity, strive, compete to overcome difficulties and challenges, and work with the highest sense of responsibility, discipline and efficiency.
