According to the plan for organizing fireworks in the political art program "Fatherland in the Heart" organized by the Hanoi People's Committee in coordination with Nhan Dan newspaper, the fireworks display will take place for 8 minutes from 10:00 p.m. on August 10.
This fireworks display has a scale of 300 high-altitude fireworks and 60 low-altitude fireworks at the F1 racetrack area, Tu Liem ward. The program was implemented with a budget of 1 billion VND from socialized sources.
Organizing the program "Fatherland in the heart" and fireworks display aims to create an exciting atmosphere, patriotism, and solidarity among the people of the capital to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Hanoi said it will organize fireworks displays at five locations on the evening of September 2 at Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium and West Lake in both traditional and artistic forms.
The celebration, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2, will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square and several central streets of Hanoi.
About 30,000 people are expected to participate, not including the parade and marching forces.
Schedule for preliminary and final rehearsals of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march:
- Preliminary review: 8:00 p.m., August 27.
- General rehearsal: 6:30 a.m. August 30.
Specific program of the September 2nd Celebration, Parade, and March:
- 6:30: Traditional torch procession.
- 6:45: Flag salute ceremony.
- 6:50: Statement of reasons, introduction of delegates.
- 7:05: Speeches of Party and State leaders.
- From 7:45: Parade program.
- 9:45 to 10:00: The art performance ends.
