Major Hoang Van Dai, a technical officer at the Wire Station, Technical Support Center, Brigade 132, has had many special sea trips. These were trips to perform Visat maintenance tasks on the island when a strong storm was forming offshore. He and his teammates had to race against the storm to maintain the “information bloodline”.

Through the times of performing missions in difficult and dangerous conditions, Major Hoang Van Dai has matured in all aspects, becoming a pillar in the technical support team of Brigade 132, assigned to be in charge of installing and maintaining Visat and radio equipment in the units.

According to Colonel Le Sy Tuong, Political Commissar of Brigade 132, from 2008 to present, the Brigade has been tasked with ensuring information to serve the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense in commanding and directing units.

This is a very heavy but also extremely glorious task for the unit, so the Party Committee and the command of Brigade 132 have led and synchronously deployed many solutions to build the organization and build people. Breakthroughs in improving the quality of training, digital transformation, taking advantage of the development trend of science and technology to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

In particular, in the condition that the unit is stationed and performs dispersed tasks, with many separate teams and stations, the Brigade has attached importance to political and ideological education and traditional education. It has organized political activities with the themes: "The heart is still beating, the blood vessels of communication are still open", "The line of victory", "For the homeland's sea and islands"... to educate the tradition and spirit of not being afraid of difficulties and hardships to ensure information security. Inspire the generation of cadres and soldiers today, build strong collectives and outstanding individuals in ensuring information security for the sea and islands.

Along with that, the movements and models: "Information groups and stations following Uncle Ho's teachings", "Model groups and stations", "Unity between the army and people, safe cable lines", "Youth shifts", "Youth days on the line", "Self-managed youth computer rooms", "Model youth cable lines"... were widely deployed, promoting the pioneering and exemplary spirit of cadres and party members and the dynamism of young people in carrying out political tasks.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai, Brigade Commander of Brigade 132, said that in order to implement the strategy of "Developing the military information system for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045" and building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Army Corps to meet the requirements of the new situation, Brigade 132 has been implementing breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation, administrative reform, and the "Digital Education for the People" movement.

Up to now, the military information system in the Central Highlands and the sea and island missions have always been ensured to be smooth, stable, and flexible in many forms. Radio equipment has been upgraded in technology, improving efficiency to meet the requirements in the new situation, Visat information has been invested in, contributing to ensuring regular information, combat readiness is always smooth, stable in all situations, maintaining signals at the wave front.
