(Fatherland) - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Regiment 375 (March 28, 1975 - March 28, 2025), on the afternoon of March 7, Regiment 375 held the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition with the theme "Regiment 375 - 50 years of loyalty and filial piety by His side" at the People's Assembly Area No. 17, Ngoc Ha Street, Hanoi.
Established in 1975, at a time when the nation's history was entering a period of peace and unification, Regiment 375 carried on its shoulders a special mission: to preserve the body of President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved leader of the nation - and his mausoleum.
Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.
After half a century of construction, fighting and growth, Regiment 375 (Guard Command) has affirmed its core role in guarding and protecting the absolute safety of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, historic Ba Dinh Square, national ceremonial activities, high-ranking delegations and important events of the country.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Colonel Trinh Cong Ruy, Commander of Regiment 375 of the Guard Command, affirmed that 50 years is a glorious journey and also the beginning of further progress. "With a solid traditional foundation, the close leadership and direction of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, the Guard Command and the Management Board of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, together with the solidarity and determination of all officers and soldiers, Regiment 375 will continue to achieve many outstanding achievements, writing glorious pages in the cause of protecting the Party, protecting the leader, firmly protecting the socialist regime" - Colonel Trinh Cong Ruy shared.
The work won first prize in the contest to learn about the 50-year tradition of building, fighting and growing up of Regiment 375.
The photo exhibition includes 300 photos and documents. The exhibition consists of 2 parts: Part I: The early days of formation and development; Part II: Forgetting oneself for the country and serving the people.
On this occasion, Regiment 375 awarded prizes in the contest to learn about the 50-year tradition of building, fighting and growing up of Regiment 375. The first individual prize went to Lieutenant Vu Bich Huong (General Staff, Regiment 375).
The exhibition is open to visitors from March 7, 2025 to March 28, 2025./.
