According to Tom's Hardware , a notable feature of the new product line from Gigabyte is their design when the motherboard and graphics card (GPU) are white with some components plated in gold. Both are aimed at wealthy gamers.

Information about the GeForce RTX 4080 Xtreme Ice GPU was first reported on social media on April 1, making many people think it was just a joke. However, the Gigabyte Facebook page in Vietnam has just provided information about the product through a recent post and showed that the product launch date may happen soon. The combination of white on the black and yellow Aorus Xtreme design makes the GPU look quite eye-catching but no less powerful.

A notable feature of the Aorus GeForce RTX 4080 Super Xtreme Ice 16G GPU is the significant GPU overclocking available. It has a turbo frequency of 2.7 GHz, which is 150 MHz higher than the reference value. Furthermore, the new product offers the highest available GPU overclocking among all released versions of the RTX 4080 Super, which previously maxed out at 2670 MHz. Similar to the Gigabyte Aorus Master GPU models, the new product is equipped with an LCD screen, which can display information about GPU parameters in real time or display various animations.

Meanwhile, the Aorus Z790 Xtreme X Ice motherboard attracts attention with its gold-plated frame on the LGA 1700 socket. This motherboard is also equipped by Gigabyte with a large LCD screen located on the housing of the VRM power subsystem, displaying system information. The board comes with a large cooling heatsink for the M.2 NVMe drive.

The space around the CPU socket as well as the RAM slots is covered by a transparent cover reminiscent of the water block of a liquid cooling system, however this is just a removable plastic decoration. All the main connectors inside the board are placed at a 90-degree angle on the right edge for easier assembly. Almost the entire surface of the board is covered by a protective cover, with only one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot being exposed.

The Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Xtreme X Ice and Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 4080 Super Xtreme Ice 16G will be available in a very limited supply bundle. According to Gigabyte Vietnam Facebook, the company will only release 300 of these kits. They will have the serial numbers of the kit on the gold-plated plates. The kit will also include the Aorus 1000W Platinum PG5 PSU and the Aorus WaterForce X II Ice 360 ​​LSS based on the overall style of the product.
