The seminar was organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, creating a space for guests to interact and exchange with union members, local youth and contestants participating in the semi-final round of the "Rural Youth Startup Project 2025" competition in the Northern region.

The seminar was attended by many guests: Mr. Canh Chi Quan - Deputy Head of the Youth and Children Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Hoang Cong Doan - Vice President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Song Thao Investment Joint Stock Company; Ms. Mai Thi Lan Anh - Director of Communications of FPT Corporation; Mr. Tran Van Hung - Deputy Director of the Northern Region, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( Sacombank ); Mr. Dinh Xuan Duong - Founder, CEO of FlyG Entertainment.

Ms. Mai Thi Lan Anh - Communications Director ofFPT Corporation spoke at the event.

Representing FPT, Ms. Mai Thi Lan Anh - Director of Corporate Communications - expressed her impression of the enthusiasm and potential of the young Vietnamese startup community, considering this a valuable asset and a belief in the country's future.

Talking about the “AI-first” mindset, Ms. Mai Thi Lan Anh said that FPT also started researching and applying artificial intelligence since 2013, after realizing that this would be an inevitable trend of the future. After 12 years, FPT has built comprehensive AI capacity with an AI computing infrastructure including two factories in Vietnam and Japan; a team of 1,000 AI engineers and a training network of 1,700 AI students nationwide, while popularizing AI from elementary school; an ecosystem of AI products and services serving about 600 million global users.

According to Ms. Lan Anh, “AI-first” is not simply using AI as a tool, but integrating it right from the strategic planning stage, from business to communication. The problem is not whether to use AI or not, but how AI helps achieve goals faster, more economically and more effectively. However, she also pointed out three major barriers that make it difficult for Vietnamese startups to effectively apply AI in communication: the mentality that AI is only for large companies or requires high costs; lack of strategic communication thinking when goals, customers and competitive advantages are not clearly defined; and lack of patience when results are not seen immediately.

To illustrate, Ms. Lan Anh tells the story of Tiktoker Le Tuan Khang - a young man from the countryside, who used to work hard in the fields but still persevered in creating content on social networks. Initially, Khang's products were simple and rudimentary, but thanks to persistent improvement, they gradually became more sophisticated and opened up many new opportunities. This is proof that if you persevere in experimenting and learning, you will definitely achieve results.

Speakers participating in the seminar "Application of artificial intelligence in the startup ecosystem" advised hundreds of startup project founders.

In the context of a series of AI tools constantly being born and changing, Ms. Lan Anh recommends that young entrepreneurs need to stay calm and sober. First of all, you must clearly define the goals and problems to be solved before using AI, avoiding blindly following trends. Second, the speed of content creation is an advantage, but quality and accuracy are the deciding factors; fast but incorrect or unethical content will cause more harm than good. Third, you should not be too concerned about which "hot" tools others are using, but the important thing is to choose the most suitable platform to achieve your goals, while complying with ethical and legal standards.

Sharing about the ethics of using AI in communication, Ms. Mai Thi Lan Anh expressed her opinion that currently AI can create images and short videos very quickly and beautifully, even "more perfect" than in real life, many cases of irresponsible communication, using fake images or false information, causing customers to lose trust. When trust is lost, not only a campaign fails but also long-term relationships with customers are affected. Ms. Mai Thi Lan Anh believes that before using any content created by AI, respect the truth and respect the recipient. Technology is only truly valuable when used responsibly, maintaining professional ethics and aiming for sustainable development.

In addition to Ms. Lan Anh's sharing, the remaining speakers also brought many perspectives and practical advice for young entrepreneurs, from grasping market trends, building personal brands, financial management, to how to utilize technology to optimize business efficiency. The event has become a meaningful occasion to inspire and affirm the importance of applying artificial intelligence in life and startups, helping young people shape their creative, proactive and responsible thinking for their entrepreneurial journey.
