During the 2 days of competition (June 19 and 20), there were more than 100 exciting qualifying matches in each category. With a large number of athletes, the tournament had high professional quality with dramatic and surprising competitions under the cheers of hundreds of spectators. For example, the men's team event, every year this event only had 3-4 teams competing, now it has increased to 8 teams. Previously, when the tournament started, experts and fans would list the candidates for the championship, second place, third place... but this year, this event went from one surprise to another. In addition to the mystery of the Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant Table Tennis Club that has been solved, this year there was the appearance of the Duc Dat Table Tennis Club, Children's House, Phan Rang... with large investments, gathering a team of athletes who are strong players who are becoming challenging opponents for the championship candidates Le Loi Club, Department of Education and Training, Provincial Lottery. As one of the impressive players in the tournament, athlete Gia Hung, Department of Education and Training, said: This is a quality tournament. This year, the tournament has many high-level athletes participating, so when competing, I have to try very hard, hoping to achieve the best results in the tournament.

Sharing about the tournament, athlete Pham Dinh Thao, Thanh Lich Table Tennis Club, excitedly said: When we heard about the tournament, we eagerly registered. This is not only an opportunity to exchange and practice table tennis techniques, but also an opportunity for us to meet and discuss with each other about expertise. According to Mr. Thao, this year's tournament is attractive and full of surprises when there are new players and quality athletes participating in the competition, creating more drama for each event. The deeper the tournament goes, the better the teams play with thrilling matches. Athlete Lam Minh Triet, Le Loi Table Tennis Club, said: I feel very happy and excited to participate in a traditional tournament of such a large scale. I hope that in the near future, the tournament will expand some more events so that table tennis lovers have the opportunity to meet, exchange and compete more.

The good news and also the pride of the tournament is that during the qualifying days, the stadium of the Provincial Training and Sports Center was always full of spectators. Mr. Lam Hung, a veteran player in the provincial table tennis community, said: The tournament was interesting, attractive, and well-organized, so it attracted athletes to compete and fans to cheer. During the 2 days of organization, I always came to watch and cheer for the athletes.

Mr. Vo Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, in charge of the tournament, said: This year's tournament gathered all the top athletes, contributing to the table tennis lovers in the province with exciting matches. In addition to the veteran players, there are also many young players with great potential, promising to be able to usurp the senior players. The high determination of the players in each match has created a very exciting atmosphere, bringing many emotions to those who love table tennis.

According to Mr. Minh, previously, athletes were mainly concentrated in some major clubs in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, but now athletes have registered to participate in many clubs throughout the province; in addition, many places have invested in facilities to serve this sport. We are very happy because there are many athletes who are fully equipped, professional and enthusiastic about the table tennis movement. Thereby, it has brought to the tournament attractive and dramatic matches with many beautiful moves and good coordination. Hopefully, the athletes this time will be the nucleus to develop the table tennis movement in the province in the coming time.
