The new gasoline prices were announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance to be adjusted and applied from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (June 27).
Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 gasoline was adjusted up by VND510/liter compared to the previous adjustment period, the new selling price is not higher than VND22,010/liter. The price of RON95-III gasoline is not higher than VND23,010/liter after increasing by VND550/liter compared to the previous retail price.
In this adjustment period, the price of 0.05S diesel oil is not higher than 20,680 VND/liter (an increase of 320 VND/liter compared to the current retail price); The price of kerosene oil is not higher than 20,610 VND/liter (an increase of 260 VND/liter compared to the current retail price). The price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil in this period also increased by 220 VND/kg compared to the previous period, the new selling price is 17,440 VND/kg.
Also in this adjustment period, the regulatory agency decided not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market in this management period (from June 20 to 27) is affected by factors such as escalating tensions in the Middle East, increasing oil inventories in the US, ongoing military conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, etc. The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days, but the main trend is up.
The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on June 20, 2024 and the adjustment period on June 27, 2024 is: 90.268 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (up 2.830 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 3.24%); 95.508 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 2.830 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 3.05%); 99.744 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 1.471 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.50%); 100.736 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (up 1.868 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.89%); 512,390 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (up 7,890 USD/ton, equivalent to an increase of 1.56%).
Since the beginning of the year, the regulatory agency has made 26 adjustments, including 12 periods of simultaneous price increases, 7 periods of price decreases, and 7 periods of alternating increases and decreases in gasoline prices.
