Gen Z doesn't need friends, just ChatGPT to confide in: Experts explain why?

(Dan Tri) - Instead of calling or confiding in friends, many young people today open their browsers, type a few lines and seek understanding from artificial intelligence.

If in the past, Gen Z often searched Google, flipped through books to find documents when doing homework; or called their best friends when they were heartbroken to confide in them, now, many young people choose to ask ChatGPT questions: "How to overcome a breakup?", "Which university should I choose?"...

Artificial intelligence (AI) is gradually becoming a true companion of Gen Z, not only supporting learning but also acting as a "life consultant".

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman once commented: “Gen Z hardly makes any important decisions without asking ChatGPT.”

In fact, AI is no longer hidden behind the keyboard, but is present as a friend who listens and gives advice on every choice and every feeling, especially for a segment of young people.

In a conversation with AI expert Nguyen Phong Anh, we will discuss the topic: "When AI becomes a digital soulmate", a new perspective on the relationship between humans and technology.
