The dangerous situation caused the audience present at the performance to scream in fear. The bear named Xiong Xiong attacked a circus performer so much that he fell to the floor. The other performer, who was also standing on the stage at the time, ran to help his colleague but to no avail.
Chinese media reported that six circus staff members rushed to help the artist who was being attacked escape from the bear that was getting out of control.

An audience member at the show said that at first the bear performed the motorbike stunt quite well, but when the trainer asked it to continue riding the motorbike, it began to lose control.
After receiving help from circus members, the situation was gradually brought under control. The bear was removed from the stage. Afterwards, a circus representative said that the artist who was attacked by the bear went to the hospital for examination, fortunately, he did not suffer any serious injuries.
The circus said it will continue to maintain animal circus acts, but will enhance safety measures to ensure better response to situations that may arise during practice and animal circus performances.
