Accordingly, the FCC list reveals that all 3 Galaxy S25 models (Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra) launched early next year support Wifi 7 (Wifi 802.11be).

Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus both come with Wifi 6E.
Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus both come with Wifi 6E.

It is known that previously, Wifi 7 was introduced on the highest-end flagship model in the Galaxy S 2024 series, the S24 Ultra (launched earlier this year), while other products in the series, the S24, S24 Plus and S24 FE, were only provided with Wifi 6E. The reason given is that these products use the Exynos 2400/24003 chip which does not support Wifi 7.

In addition, two more devices connected to Wifi 7 are the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Although using the same Snapdragon chip as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 duo do not support this connection.

If the above confirmation information is correct, equipping Wifi 7 on the S25 and S25 Plus will become a standard feature on all high-end Galaxy smartphones launched in 2025.

However, FCC documents show that ultra-wideband (UWB) support is limited to the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra, so there will still be some differences in connectivity features among the 2025 Galaxy S series members.

Previously, the S25 Plus appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with impressive scores. This score promises to significantly upgrade performance compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Plus.

The S25 Plus is expected to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO display, with an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. In terms of dimensions, the phone could be slightly different from the S24 Plus, measuring around 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.3mm and could be around 0.44mm thinner than its predecessor.

The S25 series is expected to launch on January 22 or 23, 2025.
