FPT Play owns exclusive copyright for U23 Southeast Asia tournament 2025

As the sole copyright holder in Vietnam,FPT Play will broadcast the entire tournament on platforms including: terrestrial television, cable television, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile, public screening and social networks.

The 2025 AFF U-23 Championship is the fifth edition of the tournament organised by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF).

This year's matches will take place at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (Jakarta) and Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium (Bekasi), two familiar "hot spots" for regional football fans.

According to the draw results, U23 Vietnam is in Group B with Laos and Cambodia. Group A includes: Indonesia (host), Malaysia, Philippines and Brunei Darussalam; Group C includes Thailand, Myanmar and Timor-Leste.

The teams will compete in a round robin format. The three group winners and the best runner-up will advance to the semi-finals (July 25), before the two best teams meet in the final on July 29 at Gelora Bung Karno.

In the group stage, U23 Vietnam will face Laos (July 19) and Cambodia (July 22). Before the match, coach Kim Sang-sik will announce the official list of 23 players.

With a long history of winning the championship for two consecutive years (2022, 2023) and a favorable group, U23 Vietnam has many opportunities to go deep and successfully defend the throne.
