Railways add dozens of trains to the North during the April 30 and May 1 holidays

Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said it will run dozens of additional trains on northern routes to serve passengers traveling during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

Specifically, the Hanoi - Dong Hoi route, departing from Hanoi station, has train QB1 on April 26 and 27, 2024; departing from Dong Hoi station, has train QB2 on April 30 and May 1, 2024.

Hanoi - Vinh route, departing from Hanoi station, there are trains NA3, NA7 on April 26, 27, 2024, train SE35 from April 25 to May 1, 2024. Departing from Vinh station, there is train SE36 from April 25 to May 1, 2024; trains NA4, NA14 on April 30, May 1, 2024.

Hanoi - Thanh Hoa route, departing from Hanoi station with train TH1 on April 27, 2024; departing from Thanh Hoa with train TH2 on April 30 and May 1, 2024.

Hanoi - Lao Cai route, departing from Lao Cai station, has train SP2 on April 30 and May 1, 2024. However, train SP1 departing from Hanoi station and train SP10 departing from Lao Cai station on April 30 and May 1, 2024 will stop running.

Hanoi - Hai Phong route, departing from Hanoi station with train LP9 on April 27 and 28, 2024; departing from Hai Phong station with train LP10 on April 30 and May 1, 2024, and train HP4 on May 1, 2024.

With these additional trains, the railway still applies many preferential policies such as: Discounted ticket prices for social policy beneficiaries, union members, passengers with customer cards, discounted return tickets for passengers buying round-trip tickets...

Previously, the railway opened ticket sales for regular trains during the April 30 and May 1 holidays. On the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route, there are four pairs of Thong Nhat passenger trains: SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8; one pair of Hanoi - Da Nang trains SE19/SE20.

The Hanoi - Vinh route has the NA1/NA2 train pair; the Hanoi - Hai Phong route has four pairs of trains HP1/HP2, LP2/LP3, LP5/LP6, LP7/LP8.

In particular, in the Central region, the railway organizes regular train runs between Hue - Da Nang with two pairs of trains HD1/HD2, HD3/HD4 serving tourists to enjoy the scenery of Hai Van pass, watch live music performances and enjoy Hue cuisine on the train.

Train HD1 departs from Hue station at 7:45 and arrives in Da Nang at 10:35; train HD2 departs from Da Nang station at 7:50 and arrives in Hue at 11:05. Train HD3 departs from Hue station at 14:25 and arrives in Da Nang at 17:40; train HD4 departs from Da Nang station at 15:00 and arrives in Hue at 17:45. The trains stop at Lang Co station for about 10 minutes. The fare for both pairs of trains is 150,000 VND/seat ticket.

In order to serve the travel needs of passengers, Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company opens ticket sales for trains running regularly every day during the holidays of April 30 and May 1 and continues to open ticket sales until May 14.
