(NLDO) - A 45-year-old driver stopped his car to let his family eat on the highway and was fined 13 million VND and had his driving license points deducted.


This afternoon, February 3, news from the Traffic Police Department (Traffic Police, Ministry of Public Security ) said that Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department) has just issued a fine to a driver who let his whole family sit on a mat to eat on the side of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.

Accordingly, at 11:25 a.m. on February 3, while patrolling the route, the Task Force of Team 1 discovered a car with license plate 14A-797.xx, parked illegally at Km 133+400 (direction Lao Cai - Hanoi ). During the inspection, the Traffic Police Team discovered 4 people sitting on a mat eating on the side of the road.

Working with the traffic police, the VAT driver (born in 1980, residing in Me Linh district, Hanoi) said that because it was convenient, he let his family members get off and spread out mats to eat on the side of the highway.

The traffic police team has publicized the danger of this behavior and issued a fine to the VAT driver for illegally stopping and parking on the highway. For this violation, the VAT driver will be fined 13 million VND and have points deducted from his driving license.
