VOV.VN - Chinese public opinion pays special attention to the visit of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the legal moves related to foreign investment of the Vietnamese National Assembly.
April 12 is the last day of activities of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation on an official visit to China.
Chinese public opinion highly appreciated the results of the visit, from enhancing coordination between the two legislative bodies to creating a legal framework to promote the potential and strengths in economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries and consolidating the social foundation for Vietnam-China friendship, and at the same time expecting these achievements to contribute to deepening and elevating bilateral relations.
During meetings and talks with Chinese leaders, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue proposed promoting exchanges between the National Assembly and the NPC; increasing exchanges and sharing of experiences on the activities of the National Assembly and its agencies; and enhancing the supervisory role of the legislative bodies of the two countries in urging ministries, branches and localities of the two sides to implement signed documents and agreements.

According to Mr. Pho Van Cuong, Vice President of the Shanghai Modern Service Industry Federation, this shows that the Vietnamese legislature is increasingly paying attention to listening and creating a favorable legal environment for foreign enterprises, including Chinese companies investing in Vietnam.

He assessed that in recent years, the Vietnamese National Assembly has continuously innovated its legislative mechanism, learned from international experience, improved the qualifications of its legislative team, and continuously revised and supplemented laws related to foreign investment, creating many favorable conditions for foreigners to do business in Vietnam. Mr. Thuong Phong believes that in the future, Vietnam will firmly follow the path of innovation, openness and international integration. Vietnam's level of openness will continue to improve. The prospects for economic, trade and investment cooperation between China and Vietnam will be increasingly better. Not only affirming and promoting the role of the legislative body in economic, trade and investment activities between the two sides, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue also proposed promoting the role of National Assembly/NPC deputies, members of the Vietnam-China Friendship Parliamentarians' Group in promoting friendship, consolidating consensus among the people, and building a good social foundation for the relationship between the two countries.

Following a series of high-level visits by leaders of the Party, State and Government of Vietnam in 2023, this visit to China by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the high-ranking delegation of our country has contributed to deepening and strengthening the relationship between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National People's Congress of China, elevating the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and promoting the joint building of the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance.
