When I heard the news of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's death, my heart stopped beating. Feelings of loss mixed with fear rushed over me, I immediately texted my mother and called my grandfather - a veteran currently living in Hanoi to ask. Just hearing the confirmation that Uncle had really passed away, I trembled and burst into tears like a child, I felt the great loss not only for myself but also for a generation, a nation", Pham Anh Chi, a Vietnamese student studying in France, emotionally shared.

Studying for a master's degree in faraway Switzerland, but hearing the news of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's death, Ha Diep Anh could not hold back her tears. "A grandfather, an uncle, an older brother, a man who spent his whole life serving the people and the Fatherland. I truly respect, admire and am grateful because the last images of the General Secretary at the hospital were still smiling brightly, sitting at his desk with a lot of documents, books, newspapers, he almost did not rest but still worried about the country. Hearing the news of his death, I did not dare to believe it and hoped it was just false information, but the press was growing more and more, I had to accept this. After that, I posted the information on social networks, quickly many friends texted and called to express their feelings and at that moment I felt, even though we were far from home, we all considered the General Secretary as part of our family," Ha Diep Anh shared.
Diep Anh expressed her condolences over the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on her personal page, even though she was studying abroad far from home.

Despite being busy with her exam preparation, when she heard the news of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's passing, Le Kieu Ly couldn't help but feel sad. "I didn't think much of it, just quickly posted information about him on the international student forum in my area so that my Vietnamese friends would know. At the same time, continue to pay attention, support, create favorable conditions and mechanisms for the Youth Union and young workers to train, build and consolidate the Youth Union, build a team of enthusiastic, brave, exemplary Youth Union cadres and young cadres with the ability to lead and inspire.
