At the program, the association's leaders presented 16 wheelchairs to the disabled and 10 gifts to patients in difficult circumstances. The total value of the support was 48 million VND, of which each wheelchair was worth 2.5 million VND and each gift was worth 800,000 VND. The entire cost was sponsored by Thanh Cong Textile Investment and Trade Joint Stock Company (Dong Nai).

Moved when receiving the wheelchair, Mr. Nguyen Van Chau (My Phuoc quarter, Nhon Trach commune) shared: “I have been paralyzed for many years, walking is extremely difficult. With this wheelchair, I feel like a new door has opened for me to move by myself, making it easier for my children and grandchildren.”

The wheelchairs and gifts, although not of great material value, have profound humanitarian significance, helping the disabled to reduce difficulties in daily life, giving them more motivation to integrate into the community, live more confidently and optimistically. This is also a testament to the spirit of sharing, helping each other, contributing to spreading love in society.

Not only providing material support, the program also conveys and spreads the humane message that society always accompanies the disadvantaged. Photo: Thu Hien
