On March 1, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province held a conference to implement the Politburo's resolution on planning, construction, management and sustainable development of Vietnamese urban areas to 2030, with a vision to 2045 in Dong Nai.

Urban development in Dong Nai will be associated with green spaces, large parking lots and large roads.

According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee has also issued an action program to develop urban areas in Dong Nai.

In which, aiming at three goals, including: Improving the quality of life of urban residents, increasing economic value of trade connection and creating connections with the world.

"Urban development must be people-centered and serve the people. The most beautiful lands must create something to best serve the people," said Mr. Linh.

In addition, Mr. Linh also proposed eight groups of solutions and 18 issues that need attention. In particular, attention should be paid to planning to implement the next steps.

This is the potential, advantage and opportunity for the province to develop socio-economic development space.

"Urban areas in Dong Nai in the future must achieve "5 yeses and 5 noes". 5 yeses include: Urban areas with logos, green spaces, parking lots, public toilets, and beautiful, airy streets.

"The five no's are: Urban areas without wires, no litter, no homeless beggars, no shabby street vendors, no messy digging of roads," Mr. Duc hopes.

According to the report of Dong Nai Department of Construction, by 2030, Dong Nai will have 17 urban areas.
