Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of essential infrastructure works in Phuoc Dinh commune.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the Project to upgrade and expand Route 701 (old national defense road) and the Project to build 3 new routes connecting Route 701 with the coastal road in Phuoc Dinh commune, with a total investment of 121 billion VND, capital allocated by the Central Government.

Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the project to upgrade and expand Route 701.

According to the report of Thuan Nam district, up to now, the two projects have basically completed the site clearance work. Construction units are currently clearing the ground, excavating and diverging, compacting the base, casting box culvert components, lane dividers, and relocating technical infrastructure. The disbursement result up to September 25, 2024 reached over 31.2%.

Speaking at the inspection site, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that there are still many projects; requested the leaders of Thuan Nam district to strengthen close and drastic direction, organize weekly meetings to grasp and promptly resolve arising difficulties and problems. The investor unit implements a detailed and specific construction plan for each section; coordinates with related units to urgently relocate technical infrastructure of electricity and water lines, creating favorable ground for construction; urges contractors to mobilize workers, materials, and machinery to speed up progress, determined to complete the entire project items in 2024. In addition, Phuoc Dinh commune needs to organize regular propaganda on the loudspeaker system about the goals, significance, and urgency of the project so that people can grasp and create consensus during the construction process.
