* The 20th anniversary of the re-establishment of Dak Nong province will be held on March 23, 2024

Comrades: Dieu K'Re, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee; Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Council; Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches, units and localities attended the meeting.

Dak Nong province officially came into operation on January 1, 2004. Based on the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to advise on the development of a Plan to organize activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the province's re-establishment.

In particular, the propaganda work focuses on the historical traditions, culture and people of Dak Nong; the contributions of the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Nong province in the cause of innovation, national construction and protection, achievements in socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security of the province over the past 20 years.

The propaganda also focuses on introducing the potential and development prospects in the economic, cultural and social fields of Dak Nong to domestic and international friends, attracting investment capital to serve the socio-economic development of the province.

In addition, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the province's re-establishment, Dak Nong plans to organize many activities. Specifically, a fair and exhibition of typical rural industrial products in the Central Highlands region; hosting the 2023 National Volleyball Championship (round 2); meeting and honoring outstanding collectives and individuals of the province; and installing signs at some key projects to celebrate.

Dak Nong will also organize an exhibition on cultural values, Vietnamese people and history, political, economic, cultural - social, security and defense achievements of the province in the past 20 years; the 3rd Vietnam Brocade Culture Festival and the Cultural and Sports Festival of the province's ethnic groups and the 20th Anniversary of the re-establishment of Dak Nong province...

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and members of the Steering Committee focused on giving opinions on the plan, time to organize the celebration, and the work that needs to be done from now until the celebration takes place...

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of the Steering Committee for the 20th Anniversary of the Re-establishment of Dak Nong Province, said that despite many difficulties, the organization of the 20th Anniversary of the Re-establishment of the Province must be carried out thoughtfully, solemnly, economically, safely, meaningfully, and in accordance with local conditions. At the same time, it was agreed that the official celebration will be held on March 23, 2024.

As for the guests, including representatives of the Party and State leaders, some provinces in the region, they were not invited widely. The activities to promote the image over the past 20 years, especially the cultural and artistic programs, were suitable to the actual situation of the locality. Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh also agreed with the policy of calling for socialization to organize commemorative activities.

Regarding propaganda work, we must start right now. The focus is on promoting the image and achievements so that people inside and outside the province can see that over the past 20 years, despite difficulties and challenges, with the joint efforts and consensus of the Party, government and people, Dak Nong has made a breakthrough and developed more and more. The creation of reports and speeches needs to be concise, focused and key.

The work of rewarding collectives and individuals with many contributions in the past 20 years selects the right people for the right jobs. Districts and cities focus on urban beautification, preparing well the entertainment, tourism and accommodation services to serve tourists and residents.

Immediately after the meeting, members were assigned urgent tasks to develop a program and specific tasks to implement to ensure the best preparation for the celebration.
