Comrade Luu Trung Nghia holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of An Phu Ward.

Attending the Congress were comrade Tran Minh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; former leaders of the province and Pleiku City (old) through the periods; and 160 party members representing 971 party members of 44 affiliated grassroots party organizations.

An Phu Ward was established on the basis of merging Thang Loi Ward and 2 communes An Phu and Chu A (belonging to the old Pleiku City).

In the 2020-2025 term, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, government and people of the three old communes and wards have promoted the tradition of solidarity, strived and achieved many important achievements.

Party building and political system building work has been strengthened, the organizational apparatus has been consolidated and improved to meet the requirements of the tasks. State budget revenue has exceeded the set target; the rate of poor and near-poor households is currently 0.1%; the rate of trained workers has reached 100%; the rate of people participating in health insurance has reached nearly 95%.

Environmental protection, education , health care, and social security are given attention and care. National defense and security are maintained, political security and social order and safety are ensured, creating a stable environment for development.

The congress focused on discussing and approving 24 main targets, as a premise for leadership and direction of implementation in the 2025-2030 term. Of which, there are 5 targets set by An Phu ward higher than the province's assigned level, including: total export turnover in 5 years reaching 2.5 billion USD; by 2030, an average of 110 people will have 1 business; every year, the ward meets safety standards for security and order; there is at least 1 high school in the area; 100% of schools meet national standards.

Speaking at the Congress, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Tran Minh Son requested the new Party Committee to quickly stabilize the organization and build solidarity and unity within the entire Party, people and army, because this is the top priority and has decisive significance. At the same time, continue to promote democracy and consolidate the great national solidarity bloc.

Along with that, the ward needs to urgently concretize the congress resolution into specific action plans and programs that are close to the actual situation, with the motto "6 clear" (clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear products, clear authority) and the spirit of "high determination, great effort, drastic action" to achieve the set goals.

Promote the development of high-quality service and trade sectors, eco-tourism and culture. Develop high-tech agriculture associated with processing industry, trade and tourism.

In particular, focus on developing the private economy, creating an open and transparent investment and business environment. Promote the application of science and technology, especially digital transformation, building digital government and smart cities.

Focus on developing culture and society, improving the quality of people's lives, considering people as the center and driving force of social development. Take comprehensive care of the fields of education, health, culture and sports. Implement well social security policies, policies for people with meritorious services and social protection beneficiaries.

Preserve and promote traditional cultural values, build civilized urban lifestyle. Strengthen urban management, ensure a bright-green-clean-beautiful environment...

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the An Phu Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, 25 comrades were appointed to participate in the first term Party Executive Committee of the ward. Comrade Luu Trung Nghia - Provincial Party Committee member, was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the ward Party Committee.
