On the evening of September 2, after a long flight with a stopover in Guangzhou, the U22 Vietnam team arrived in Changsha city - China, where the international friendly football tournament CFA Team China 2024 will take place.

CFA Team China 2024 is a tournament organized by the Chinese Football Association (CFA), for youth teams with players under 21 years old. The U22 Vietnam team participating in the tournament is composed of players in this age group, the purpose is to create opportunities for players to compete and accumulate, thereby proactively preparing for important tasks in 2025.

Upon arrival at the airport, the Organizing Committee arranged for the team a coordinator and a tour guide to enthusiastically support them, pick them up at the airport, and carefully arrange the logistics of the team's bus and a specialized truck to transport luggage. From the airport, the team traveled for about 30 minutes to their accommodation at the Grand Sun City Hotel - a 5-star hotel arranged by CFA for foreign teams participating in the tournament.

Sharing right after returning to the hotel, Acting Head Coach Dinh Hong Vinh said: “Each player has a high determination, ready to play with all their might for the country. We know that the journey ahead will not be easy, but with preparation and solidarity, we will do our best to conquer the goal.”

According to the plan, on the morning of September 3, Head of Delegation Luu Quang Dien Bien and Assistant Coach Tran Duc Cuong will attend the technical meeting before the Tournament. In the afternoon of the same day, Head Coach Dinh Hong Vinh will attend a press conference, then together with his colleagues in the coaching staff will deploy the training plan for the team's official training session in Changsha, preparing for the opening match against host China, taking place at 6:35 p.m. Vietnam time on September 4, 2024.
