On May 30 in Ha Long City, the Executive Committee of Quang Ninh Coal Union organized the 2023 Creative Youth Forum and honored strong Youth Union branches and exemplary Youth Union officials in 2022.

In recent times, the youth of Quang Ninh Coal have always focused on research to promote initiatives, technical innovation, application of science and technology in production, establishment of young science and technology clubs, young engineers, and groups to support initiatives and technical innovation. The Creative Youth Movement has been taking place enthusiastically, attracting and gathering young union members to participate, creating an environment for cadres and young union members to promote their youth and creativity.

In 2022, Quang Ninh Coal Union had 1,328 technical innovation initiatives with a value of 59 billion VND, contributing significantly to the completion of production and business tasks of units and the Group. Currently, the entire Union is maintaining 11 club models, the Young Science and Technology Board, more than 308 initiative support groups and 861 union members participating in the Young Engineer Club.

Technical innovation initiatives focus on researching and applying technological lines suitable for minerals in areas with complex geological conditions; promoting mechanization, automation, computerization, applying digital transformation, applying modern technology in exploitation, production, and management towards liberating labor, saving costs, creating a safe and highly efficient working environment.

Through creative activities, many outstanding individuals have been discovered. Over the past 5 years, the entire group has had 15 comrades honored as “National Excellent Young Workers”.

To continue spreading the youth innovation movement among the Group's Youth Union, Quang Ninh Coal Union will continue to implement solutions to support units and direct production blocks, establish clubs, youth science and technology boards, and initiative support groups; strengthen propaganda work for youth union members to raise awareness, innovate thinking about applying science and technology, and promote initiatives; periodically organize specialized competitions, seminars, and forums on youth innovation; commend and reward and promote advanced models in the youth innovation movement, so that the movement can spread more and more widely among youth union members.

Within the framework of the forum, Quang Ninh Coal Union congratulated comrade Le Ngoc Khanh - National Excellent Young Worker awarded by the Central Youth Union; awarded strong Youth Union branches and exemplary Youth Union cadres; Deployed plans with tasks that need to be focused on related to building a working environment, operating houses and production mines, according to the criteria of Bright - Green - Clean.
