After super typhoon Yagi and severe flooding in September 2024, the Organizing Committee of the Thanh Tung Legacy of Love project series decided to postpone the concert of the same name to share the difficulties that our people are facing after the natural disaster.

To meet audience demand, the show will officially return on the evening of January 11-12, 2025 at Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi.

Due to time constraints, singer Uyen Linh will not be present in these two concerts as previously announced. However, the program will feature People’s Artist Thanh Lam, who has left a deep impression with his songs such as: Drops of sunshine on the threshold, Old path we return, Goodbye summer…

Through the arrangements of musician Tran Manh Hung, the audience will experience new emotions from familiar songs that Thanh Lam has performed.

The program also features the participation of pianist Luong Khanh Nhi, who recently won 3rd prize in the Leeds International Piano Competition 2024. Luong Khanh Nhi's skillful and emotional playing will bring another dimension of Thanh Tung's music to the audience.

In addition to People's Artist Thanh Lam and pianist Luong Khanh Nhi, the two music nights also featured the appearances of singers Lan Nha, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, and saxophone artist Quyen Thien Dac...

Thanh Tung Legacy of Love brings a new musical experience with a unique combination of the Sun Symphony Orchestra - one of the leading orchestras in Vietnam, and modern sounds from Son Thach Band.

Musician Thanh Tung's works are performed in a classical crossover style, both classical and contemporary.

The Sun Symphony Orchestra, with nearly 70 talented artists, has been expanded in terms of staff to enhance the richness and harmony of its tones. This is also a rare occasion for the orchestra to perform a full concert honoring a Vietnamese musician, showing respect for Thanh Tung's musical heritage.

The program is led by conductor Olivier Ochanine, famous for his expressive conducting style and ability to connect the orchestra, with musical direction by musician Tran Manh Hung, an expert in the field of symphonic arrangement and transcription.

This collaboration promises to bring new creations while still keeping the original spirit of the works intact. In the program, many works are performed with different instruments, and the singers' voices are considered a special natural instrument, indistinguishable from other instruments.

This is a new form of arrangement and orchestration, combining works with and without lyrics throughout the entire performance, taking the audience through many emotions and immersing themselves in the art.
