This year, more than 1,071,000 candidates registered for the high school graduation exam, an increase of more than 45,000 candidates compared to last year. Of these, the number of independent candidates was 46,978, accounting for 4.38%.

According to the plan, the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 17. The recognition of high school graduation will be completed no later than July 19. The Departments of Education and Training will announce the high school graduation results no later than July 21. The printing and sending of exam result certificates to candidates will be completed no later than July 23.

In 2023, the analysis of the score distribution of the high school graduation exam in Civic Education nationwide showed that 565,452 candidates took the Civic Education exam, with the average score being 8.29 points, the median score being 8.5 points; the score with the most candidates achieving was 9 points.

The number of candidates with a score of 1 or less is 26 (accounting for 0.005%); the number of candidates with a score below average is 5,492 (accounting for 0.97%).
