Specifically, 5 public service units under the Ethnic Committee, including:

1. Central Ethnic University Preparatory School.

2. Sam Son Ethnic University Preparatory School.

3. Central Ethnic University Preparatory School Nha Trang.

4. Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

5. Viet Bac High School for Ethnic Minorities.

Previously, on September 26, 2022, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1127/QD-TTg transferring 5 schools including: Central Ethnic University Preparatory School, Sam Son Ethnic University Preparatory School, Nha Trang Central Ethnic University Preparatory School, Ho Chi Minh City University Preparatory School, Viet Bac Highlands High School from the Ministry of Education and Training to be under the Ethnic Committee.

According to this Decision, the Ministry of Education and Training is responsible for handing over the status quo of specialized schools from the Ministry of Education and Training to the Ethnic Committee for management; at the same time, reviewing, amending and supplementing legal regulations on state management of education for specialized schools.

The Ethnic Committee receives the specialized schools in their original state for management according to regulations; coordinates with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and the People's Committees of provinces and cities to transfer staff, hand over assets, finances, etc. according to regulations.

The Ethnic Committee directs Specialized Schools to develop plans and reorganize internal organizations according to the provisions of law, ensuring streamlining, effective and efficient operations.
