Strengthened the leadership role of the Party over the government, the Front and mass organizations, improved the management and operation capacity of the grassroots government. The People's Committee of the commune promptly concretized the policies and orientations of the Party Committee into programs, plans and organized implementation, mobilizing people to join hands to carry out local tasks".

According to Mr. Do Van Dung: The Commune Party Committee always pays attention to building and consolidating the contingent of cadres in the grassroots political system in the spirit of Resolution No. 02-NQ/HU of the District Party Executive Committee, term XVII. The training of leading and managerial cadres in the political system has been given attention, with 20 cadres and civil servants sent to attend training and fostering courses, creating conditions for commune cadres and civil servants to standardize their professional qualifications, skills, and political theory, meeting the requirements of the task. At the same time, the commune focuses on reviewing and supplementing the cadre planning for the 2020-2025, 2021-2026 and subsequent terms in accordance with procedures and regulations, creating a source of successor cadres.

The Commune Party Committee has directed Party cells to improve the quality of Party cell activities in accordance with Directive No. 10-CT/TW of the Central Party Secretariat and Instruction No. 12-HD/BTCTW of the Central Party Organization Committee. During the term, the Party Committee admitted 49 new Party members, reaching 100% of the target set by the Congress Resolution, the annual rate of Party member admission reached 4% or more compared to the total number of Party members at the beginning of the term. In 2024 alone, 15 new Party members were admitted, exceeding the district registration target and exceeding 200% of the Congress Resolution.

“Up to now, the Commune Party Committee has 200 Party members in 13 affiliated Party cells. 100% of village Party cells have 3 or more Party members who are local people, 8/8 Heads of the Front Work Committee are Party members, exceeding the target set in the Resolution. In the first quarter of 2025, the Party Committee focused on leading the election of village heads in villages; successfully organized the congress for the 2025-2027 term in 13/13 affiliated Party cells. Currently, 7/8 Party cell secretaries are also village heads, 8/8 village heads are Party members, 12/13 Party cells have Party cell committees,” Secretary Do Van Dung informed.

Care about life and production

Ia Phin commune has 5 Kinh villages and 3 ethnic minority villages. The commune's Fatherland Front Committee has mobilized funds to implement social security programs, help poor students overcome difficulties in studying, implement a livelihood model of raising goats for reproduction, associated with the campaign "Changing the thinking and working methods of ethnic minorities to gradually escape poverty sustainably". The commune People's Committee has reviewed and compiled a list of 34 poor and near-poor households to implement the construction and repair of houses according to the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025.

The Commune Farmers' Association promotes its role in agricultural production associated with new rural construction. According to the Chairman of the Commune Farmers' Association, Hoang Xuan Thanh: "The Association focuses on supporting cadres and members in economic development and proposes many measures to implement it. In particular, it has organized many activities to advise and support farmers in terms of capital and seedlings, coordinated training programs, disseminated knowledge, improved the ability to apply science and technology in production, and coordinated with the Agricultural Service Center to implement agricultural extension models. Currently, the number of households achieving the title of good farmers and businessmen at all levels accounts for over 65% of registered households."

Gang Village is a typical unit in new rural construction. Ms. Pham Thi Hong Hanh - Head of the Front Work Committee said: “The village has 128 households, with a natural land area of ​​300 hectares. Villagers are maintaining effective production of 270 hectares of industrial crops, 18 hectares of double-crop rice fields, and 4 hectares of vegetables. In 2024, villagers intercropped fruit trees such as avocado and durian with 700 trees that are currently growing well, and herds of livestock and poultry are about 750. Villagers always maintain environmental sanitation, contribute funds to install electricity, build community houses, expand production team roads, dredge canals, maintain political security and social order and safety. People's lives are increasingly improving, the village has maintained its cultural title for many consecutive years".

Implementing the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, the Commune People's Committee focuses on directing the promotion of agricultural production, increasing productivity for crops and livestock. Mr. Dao Quang Binh - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee said: "Currently, the total planting area is mainly nearly 2,200 hectares, reaching 100% of the set plan. In addition to investing in developing the main crop of coffee with an area of ​​1,870 hectares, the commune mobilizes people to develop intercropping of fruit trees such as avocado, durian, jackfruit, medicinal plants, reaching about 600 hectares. Livestock has developed compared to the beginning of the term. The total herd of livestock and poultry in the commune is nearly 41,300, of which poultry is 38,500".

In addition, the commune has paid attention to transferring science and technology to production and animal husbandry; coordinated the organization of seminars on varieties and plant protection drugs for thousands of farmers. Received and distributed new varieties; helped people orientate suitable crops and livestock, grasp science and technology to apply to effective and sustainable production. Guided people to effectively use loans from social policy banks and other credit sources, invest in production...

With the efforts of the grassroots political system, the income and life of people in the commune are increasingly improved, the poverty rate is more than 7%. By the end of 2024, the commune had 8/8 villages recognized as cultural, the whole commune had 1,129 cultural households, of which 502 households achieved 3 consecutive years.

Promote the strengths of specialized and concentrated production areas associated with promoting linkages in production, processing and consumption of clean agricultural products, implementing the OCOP program, developing high-tech agricultural production. Lead the socio-economic development of the commune in accordance with the general development strategy of the district and the Resolution of the Party Committee".
